I recently stayed at Oruthota Chalets with my wife and two kids. We chose the full board option, and our experience was really nice.
The best part of our stay was the time we spent at the pool, enjoying the sun and the beautiful surroundings. The kids' play area was a lot of fun for our children, making our family trip even better.
Oruthota Chalets is in a pretty location with a view of the calm Victoria Reservoir. The well-kept garden had lots of flowers, vegetables, fruits, and medicinal plants, making the place feel close to nature.
Our room was super clean and comfortable, which was great after our daily adventures. The kids loved the early morning walk around the hotel, where they saw local fishermen in the Victoria Reservoir and lots of interesting wildlife like Giant-squirrels, Mouse-deer, peacocks, and wild-rabbits.
We were lucky to visit on a day with fewer people, so we could enjoy the peaceful atmosphere of the hotel. The staff at Oruthota Chalets were friendly and quick to help, making our experience positive.
I want to mention the hotel restaurant because when we ordered food, it was delivered to our room in less than 30 minutes. The food was good, showing that the hotel cares about being efficient and making guests happy.
In conclusion, our stay at Oruthota Chalets was great, and we're excited to visit again soon. I highly recommend it for anyone looking for a peaceful getaway surrounded by nature's beauty.
I went for lunch with some friends. They had some function, so I think all the resources were assigned to that. Therefore, serving us took some time. The food was quite good, and the location was amazing. It's a good place to have a peaceful time, I guess.

The staff, while friendly, lacks experience, which could be improved for a more seamless guest experience. Despite this, the hotel receives great reviews for Victoria Reserve. However, the food falls short of justifying its price, presenting a point of consideration for potential guests.

Great place to host events. The view from the restaurant and pool side is amazing. Good food and staffs are very welcoming and helpful. Location is a little bit far from the city center. But the hotel provides city tours. Very warm stay at the place.

Really enjoyed my time here, stayed with a group of 10 of us. Sarath was very helpful to show us around the area and to help with all our food and room requests. The room was beautiful and had a great view of the Victoria Reservoir. Great swimming pool as well for use. Highly recommended
